Terms and Conditions of Aveda Rewards Membership Program
Members are bound by these Terms and all applicable laws.
Interpretation of these Terms and Conditions shall be in the sole discretion of Aveda.
Must be 18 years or older to participate.
No purchase is necessary for Aveda rewards membership, however, a fee will be charged to join the Program.
Employees of participating salons/spas, Aveda and its parent company or affiliates and their families are not eligible to participate.
Neither accounts nor Program points may be shared or combined. Corporations, groups or associations cannot enroll.
Only the member paying for the products may accumulate points.
Members will not receive points on purchases which are reimbursed by corporations or other organizations ineligible to participate in the rewards program.
The products and services purchased and any samples provided under the Program are for personal use only. Members may not sell or resell any such products or services, or samples. Violation of this term may result in termination of membership.
Rewards are not replaceable if lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed. Aveda is not responsible for rewards lost in the mail.
All rewards are subject to availability.
Aveda is not responsible for points lost or redeemed due to fraudulent activity.
Points have no cash value and are non-transferable. If an item is returned, the points issued for that purchase will be deducted from the member’s account.
Points can only be accumulated and rewards redeemed at participating stores or locations.
Members cannot receive reward points for purchases made prior to joining the program.
Failure to present a membership card at time of purchase may delay or prevent point accumulation.
Members are responsible for notifying Aveda rewards membership customer service at 800.230.8051 or on the website at www.aveda.ca/pureprivilege if member information changes. Neither Aveda nor participating stores and locations are responsible for lost, delayed or undeliverable mail.
Suspected illegal, fraudulent or other unauthorized use of Aveda issued membership cards, vouchers, coupons and certificates or any other activity inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions shall result in termination of membership.
Aveda reserves the right to charge for membership card replacement.
Points will be given for Aveda gift card purchases, but will not be given for Aveda gift card redemptions.
Points will not be awarded for special promotions unless otherwise stated in the promotion.
Points cannot be redeemed until credited to the member’s account. Participating stores and locations may take different periods to notify Aveda of points to be credited. Aveda is not responsible for failure, delay or error by a participating store or location in notifying us of points to be credited.
Any applicable tax liabilities resulting from points awarded under the Program are the responsibility of the member.
The program shall be run in accordance with these Terms and Conditions at all times. In the event of an error administering the program that is contrary to these Terms and Conditions, Aveda reserves the right to enforce these Terms and Conditions.
Membership and unused points will expire after two years of account inactivity. Former members are welcome to rejoin Aveda rewards after account expiration by submitting a new application.
Aveda reserves the right to audit membership accounts at any time.
Aveda reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions, program rules, benefits and rewards at any or all locations at its sole discretion upon 28 days notice.
Aveda reserves the right to add or withdraw participating locations upon 28 days notice.
Aveda reserves the right to suspend to terminate the program upon 28 days notice.
Notice of changes to the Terms and Conditions and participating stores and locations and of termination or suspension of the program will be validly given when posted during and subsequent to the notice period here
